NYTWA Benefits & Services
NYTWA provides a broad range of services for our members and their families — from discount representation for DMV tickets and TLC matters, to Free Legal Advice, Classes, and Life Insurance. We also help you apply for Low-Interest Loans, Health Insurance, Disability & Workers Comp, and many other social programs. More than this, we fight individual complaints against garages, brokers, App companies, predatory leasing companies, the TLC and NYPD and other Industry Grievances — and run campaigns for change at the city, state, and federal levels which seek to protect the long-term interests of drivers and empower you to fight back against corruption and exploitation, financial or otherwise. We are the union of yellow taxi, App-based, green cab, livery, and black car drivers united to fight for justice, rights, dignity, and respect in the workplace.
